Under general supervision, the Molecular Medical Technologist performs a variety of routine and complex clinical laboratory tests on body fluids and substances requiring independent judgment, speed and accuracy and with the highest standard of professional performance. * Manage problems that affect test performance or reporting of test results. * Adhere to quality control procedures including documentation, instrument and procedural calibrations and instrument maintenance. * Perform all job duties in accordance with established standards and quality control to ensure high quality patient care. *Will draw patients and conduct urine drug screens. * Other duties as assigned. Requirements This position requires a Bachelors Medical Technologist Degree or equivalent and city/state licenses or permits to qualify as a Technologist w/1-3 years experience in a Clinical Laboratory, preferably in molecular. Experience with Panther instrument preferred.ASCP or AMT certification preferred. Must be able to pass standardized color vision test and work overtime as business needs require.
