Purpose and Scope: The individual in this role will be responsible for the XTANDI Key Customer Strategy and tactical execution. These channels include thought leader engagement, organized providers, speaker programs & symposia, and congresses. In conjunction with other marketing team members, Insights & Analytics, partner company, and other functions, the successful candidate will assess insights on customer opportunities, generate strategies to achieve brand objectives, and ensure successful implementation of tactics that are aligned with the strategies. The individual will be an expert in thought leader engagement, peer-to-peer and congress, and organized customer brand strategies and will be responsible for seamless integration with HCP and Consumer Promotional Strategy, Market Access, and Global teams to ensure flawless message alignment ,effective thought leader engagement and input to maximize our customer insights and effective execution. Essential Job Responsibilities: * Leads the development and execution of the XTANDI key customer strategy and tactics for HCPs and organized providers * Impactful, timely synthesis of useful and relevant market insights from Thought Leaders and internal customer facing stakeholders (including field sales and Key Account Management and their respective leadership, Medical Affairs, executives, and other cross functional partners) to influence commercial strategies and tactics for the brand team * Analyzes appropriate metric measurements to assess the efficacy of strategies and tactics and redeploys resources to generate higher ROI * Ensures strong collaboration with cross functional colleagues (i.e., Market Access, Global) and co-promote partner in implementing strategic and tactical plans and determining improvements for change * Adapts core brand messaging based on various channels to maximize brand performance * Formulates new stakeholder development plans with internal and external stakeholders to address the changing healthcare environment and optimize stakeholder relationships. Develops the Brand Plan and Tactical Plans to ensure that they will achieve strategic objectives, make product budget, and be within A and P guidelines for budget * Continuously seeks new innovative opportunities across channels aligned with brand objectives to significantly improve brand performance * Fosters a positive and collaboration-oriented team culture. Ensures strong collaboration with cross-functional colleagues * Attracts, develops and retains Marketing team members. Proactively manages the development of direct reports and broader team to ensure continuous improvement of and conducts periodic performance and development reviews * Ensures all team members are trained on compliance and procedures and that all work is completed in an ethical and compliant manner * Implements other functions as assigned by Executive Director, Oncology Marketing Quantitative Dimensions: * Sales Budget: This position has a direct impact on both the strategic and tactical direction for the brand assigned. This position drives Brand Planning and tactical Planning and subsequent product goal achievement. * A and P Budget: Directly impacted by the efficient use of resources including: direct reports, vendors, negotiation for services both internally and externally and monitoring of budget. Organizational Context: This is the lead role for XTANDI Key Customer team: leading direct reports to achieve the financial targets of the company through superior strategic and tactical execution. The direct areas of responsibility for this role include thought leader engagement, speaker programs/symposia, and congresses and requires strong alignment with the rest of the XTANDI marketers. The Director, Oncology Marketing directly engages in and has responsibility for strategic brand development. This position will be highly engaged with upper Brand Management in providing the necessary robust data and solutions for the development of the brand plan and long term strategy. This position is highly strategic, though is also responsible at a high level for ensuring tactics are executed. This position should already have (or have demonstrated) fully developed working relationships with higher level external partners and internal colleagues from other departments (including market research, Health Systems, legal and regulatory). Contact and collaboration with VP levels is routine. This role requires high levels of collaboration for success and will require consistent interface with cross functional colleagues to determine efficacy of plans and develop creative solutions. This position will report to the Executive Director, Oncology Marketing. Qualifications: Required * Bachelor's degree * This level requires 12 years related, relevant experience (marketing, sales, sales training, market research, marketing operations, finance, forecasting, etc.) and/or equivalent education * Demonstrated command of product management, and specifically a track record of success in marketing across multiple customer types with demonstrated ability to drive share * Demonstrated ability to be a high level contributor and leader of multiple projects, processes or functions * Ability to present complex issues to higher level management and contribute to high level presentations and discussions * Strong collaborative experience in working with external partners and professional organizations * Must have demonstrated leadership capabilities by leading teams and achieving goals * Must be willing to travel (approximately 30%) Preferred * MBA or related advanced degree * Experience working in a partnership / co-promotion * Experience working in a thought leader engagement function and/or key account marketing * Significant experience/proficiency in Oncology and specifically prostate cancer Benefits: * Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance * Generous Paid Time Off options, including Vacation and Sick time, plus national holidays including year-end shut down * 401(k) match and annual company contribution * Company paid life insurance * Annual Corporate Bonus and Quarterly Sales Incentive for eligible positions * Long Term Incentive Plan for eligible positions * Referral bonus program #LI-DP1 Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
